Gold Canyon sits about 45 minutes east of Phoenix at the foot of the Superstition Mountains.
Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX) is the closest major airport, roughly 40 miles from the resort. Mesa Gateway (AZA) is a smaller alternative and slightly closer.
A rental car is the easiest way to explore the desert. Rideshare works to and from the resort, but can be limited late at night — plan ahead for the send-off.

Contribute ↗Formal / black-tie optional. Think floor-length gowns and dark suits or tuxedos. The ceremony is outdoors on grass, so consider block heels over stilettos — and bring a wrap or jacket, as desert evenings in January get cool (mid-40s°F after sunset).
Early January in the Sonoran Desert is beautiful — sunny days around 65°F that drop into the 40s once the sun sets. The ceremony is at golden hour, so layers you can add later are your friend.

Complimentary self-parking and valet are both available at the resort. If you're staying nearby, rideshare drops off right at the main entrance.
